#19 Grow your community from 0 in 3 months | HelioHype | 💜💛

Hello, my dear Helios!Here you are again, wanting to get to know the latest secrets of community building.Well, I'm joking, there are no secrets here, just my exclusive takes on community building and nothing more than that.Today you'll get to know how I can magically create a community in as little as 3 months and start running it immediately.You will no longer launch everything into the void, you will know the opinion of the best people and you'll have the sense of direction.In short - your life can change in 3 months.If you're ready to build a community, let me go ahead and tell you a bit more.First, you need to understand that there're only 3 tasks that you need to handle every single month:

• Traffic

• Retention

• Optimization

Any of the tasks in 3 following months can fall into one of those 3 categories.Now you've identified categories of evil, we can process to the plan itself:

Month 0. Gather your audience

Should I tell you that it's a non-negotiable? Hopefully, you already understand that community is just a part of the funnel, not a way to get people's attention.Community has a limited reach and it's limited to the top of the funnel (which is usually social media). So, first things first, build a real following.Gather dedicated people around yourself and your chosen niche, position yourself as an expert.By the way, I have one five-part course on how to gather real 1,000 followers on Twitter in just 45 days, here it is:

Alright, once you feel comfortable with creating a community for your dedicated followers, then you can start the process.

Month 1. Create and Launch

Both of those steps require quite a lot of knowledge (or intuition) to execute. You need to feel your audience asif it's the end of your fingertips.And, besides that, do those things:

To create:

• Decide on a platform (check out issue #16)

• Create routines for people to follow

• Create a hierarchy

To launch:

• Collect leads & emails

• Use social media to make some hype

• Write a hype sequence, explain what they get

This is an advanced strategy that's bound to work 99% of times.Only if you check out the need for it first - ask people whether they want that or not.

Month 2. Attract more people

Just hype everyone up.Let everyone know what you're doing.Let everyone know about your community.If you don't remind people of something, they easily forget that.Don't lose your chance to drag more people in while nurturing existing members.Make sure you add value to your community along the way.

Month 3. Optimization

At this point, your main goal should be doing only the most productive tasks. All while removing yourself from the community. People don't need to rely on you. They need to connect with each other.I'm not saying that you should stop doing rituals or posting content inside of the community.You should simply stop nudging people that much.Don't make them talk, let them talk themselves.Optimize all your funnels - ask for feedback - repeatIt's like raising a child, at first you care a lot, but then you help it less and less until it's a grown adult.
